Work Day Meeting Notice

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This is our annual Work Day Meeting, and as such, we will have a very abbreviated business meeting, followed by our speaker, Sally Falaschi. Sally will explain her mitten project which will be the focus of our work day. We will be sewing buttons on already made woolen mittens.
PLEASE BRING: YOUR OWN NEEDLE
POSSIBLE OTHER ITEMS: scissors, various colors of thread, any no longer used woolen sweaters, skirts etc. or fleece
ALTRUISTIC DONATION: SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We will also be collecting any additional donations for a memorial to Betty Stinson, one of our Chapter Tau Founders, who passed away on
October 13, 2016. Betty’s daughter, GeorgAnn, suggested that the memorial be sent to the Birthing Project of Racine. This is a non profit international center and mentoring service for improving birth outcomes for women ages 16-44. GeorgAnn indicated that Betty was very involved with this organization the last eight years of her life. Our Chapter provides $75.00 from our treasury for a memorial for any deceased member. If you wish to add to this amount, you may do so through a cash donation or by a check written out to Alpha Delta Kappa Tau. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to contribute, please send your check to our Treasurer: Kim Gloede, 6117 Charles St, Racine, WI 53402 by January 14.
