Marybeth Zuhlke came to our March 11, 2023 meeting and spoke to us about her involvement in the Kiwanis Club and other organizations. She has written several books, and brought one to show to us.
Our altruistic gift for her was travel-size toothpaste, which she uses in an activity in her Peace Learning Circles. The children do an exercise in which the toothpaste represents unkind words, which are as impossible to "unsay" as toothpaste is to put back into the tube.

We also had several other items of correspondence.
Thank you notes from Cops 'N' Kids for our donations of money and supplies. There were also several individual thank yous to members who wrote their check directly to the organization.
A thank you note from Karen for her gift certificate when she was ill.
