As we often do in the Spring, we went on a field trip. Shepherds College in Union Grove was fascinating!
After checking in, our tour guide gave a summary. It is a post-transition residential school for special needs adults, which offers three majors.
First we saw their extensive Food Service.
Then our next very enthusiastic leaders told us about the Technology Program. Their facility was amazing.
It was here in the Tech Department where we had some very professional photos taken of our group, including our very friendly and helpful guide.
Next we got to see the Horticulture Program in the huge greenhouses.
Several ladies decided to come back to buy plants after lunch. We went to Michael's on the Lake in Kansasville. We had a brief meeting and a delicious lunch.
Susan got a penant with the school mascot.
