Jerry Nelson returned to present the program for our April meeting, and it was well-received. Jerry is the owner of Classic Gardens in Franksville. Among his accounts are several golf courses and Carthage College. The program was on Gardening. Not only did Jerry answer any and all of our gardening questions, he also demonstrated how to create the perfect container garden, all the way from choosing the container to choosing the potting soil, to choosing fertilizer, to choosing the appropriate plants. Then at the end of his wonderful presentation, he gave us the two container gardens which he had created. A drawing was held and Lynn & Janis received the planters.
