Welcome to October and A∆K Founders’ Month. At our September meeting, we again voted to honor Char and her school with cookie treats for the Horlick staff for Founders’ Month.
We also voted to honor our “sister” Joan Brown for her years as an exceptional Kindergarten teacher with RUSD. As you know from a previous Sunshine posting, Joan now resides at Case House for memory care. In conjunction with Joan’s September birthday and October Founders’ Month, I delivered muffins to the residents and staff at Case House. Here is the card I included, thanking the staff for their kindness and care.
I included an A∆K fact sheet with information about the educational sorority and how our Tau Chapter in particular has contributed to the greater Racine community.
