Here's a lovely thank-you Robin received by text for our donation. She read it aloud to us at our May Zoom meeting:
Dear ADK,
I want to send you all a very HEARTFELT THANK YOU for supporting our
Kid's Night Out events for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing students within
RUSD. We VERY much appreciate your donations and look forward to
planning many more exciting events for our students and families. As
D/HH teachers, it is our privilege to be able to host these events for
our students and families. We would not be able to do so without your
generous donations. So many parents have shown their appreciation to us
all, telling us how much their child enjoyed participating in a
particular event, or that their child was thrilled to have made a brand
NEW friend that wears a hearing aid just like them!
Your donations have given us the opportunity to provide fun and
entertaining experiences that will hopefully be carried with them for a
lifetime. Your donations have put SMILES on so many faces across the
district and have helped us be able to connect our families socially and
emotionally. Thank you SO much. We look forward to seeing you at our
upcoming events as soon as we are able to get back to some sense of
normalcy.
