One of our members sent money to the Manyara Holistic Center (MAHOCE) the home and school for Children in Tanzania that was our International World Understanding Project a few years ago. The money was sent with no strings attached, but the hope was that they would buy a classroom set of computer tablets, and they DID!
Here is a note from the director, Joshua several weeks ago: "Our computer teaching with the tablets will be starting in a few more Saturdays. We have a new woman, recent university grad, who will be leading the classes. We've downloaded some free teaching apps like Duolingo & Aga Khan. Here are the first lesson plans. Thank you again for making this possible."
